Chiropractic FAQs

New to chiropractic care, or just weighing whether it is right for you? Here are the questions we hear most from Tulsa patients.
Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes. Chiropractic is one of the safest, most conservative ways to treat back, neck, and joint pain. We examine you first, then use gentle, precise adjustments suited to your body.

Does an adjustment hurt?

Most people feel relief, not pain. You may hear a pop as gas releases from the joint, and it is common to feel looser and more mobile right away.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what is going on and how long it has been there. After your exam we walk you through a clear plan, and you decide how far you want to take it.

Do I need a referral to come in?

No. You can book directly with us. If we think another provider should be involved, we will tell you.

What happens on my first visit?

We talk through your history, run a thorough exam, and explain what we found. If it is the right time, we start with your first adjustment that day.

Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?

Yes. We use gentle techniques designed for pregnancy that many patients find eases back and hip discomfort through every stage.

Do you treat children?

Yes. We offer gentle, age-appropriate care that supports healthy growth and helps kids stay active.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept several major plans and also offer affordable cash options. See our insurance page for the full list.
